February Newsletter
To the Church Family at Faith Baptist Church;
Marriage is one of God’s most favorite things. The Scriptures are filled with marriage. The Scriptures begin with marriage. Before the fall happened, marriage happened. Marriage was, is, and will be a good gift from God. Marriage also occurs all throughout Scripture. It is assumed that most of God’s people will get married, have kids, and continue the mandate to fill the earth. In fact, it seems as though that marriage is God’s primary means of reaching the
nations throughout the Scripture narrative. And Scripture concludes with a marriage (Rev 21) where the church will walk down the aisle to her groom Jesus Christ. What a glorious thing marriage is! What a high calling marriage is!
We will be having a marriage conference at the end of February. The goal of this conference is to be a benefit and help to the best marriages and those that are struggling and are seeking help. Even the best marriage can benefit because it is still two sinners that are living together. And those marriages that might feel like they are hanging on by a thread can have hope because it is two sinners living together (of which Christ came to die for).
Married couples, would you consider attending this conference? We really do believe this will be a great blessing to you.
Singles, would you consider how you may help serve at this conference? A couple of idea is scholarshipping a couple, serving with snacks, clean-up, or maybe even helping with child-care (only those who are Children Certified can). Or maybe, you would also benefit from the conference and would like to attend? Great! Sign up!Below is a list of events we are having in February:
